Rick Wilkening is the Director for Major Accounts & Emerging Solutions at MiHIN, where he led the Admission-Discharge-Transfer (ADT) initiative from pilot to production, and is also managing MiHIN’s broader Transitions of Care program. He serves as the primary liaison with a number of MiHIN’s key stakeholders to align MiHIN’s priorities with stakeholder needs. He is Managing Partner at Trezuno LLC, with more than 20 years of consulting experience in health care and information technology. In the past decade, he has focused on the Michigan market, including numerous strategic planning and information systems implementation engagements with providers and insurers.
Prior to establishing Trezuno, Rick helped develop the Information Technology practice within a surgery consulting firm that was purchased by Johnson & Johnson. His role as a Practice Lead included product management responsibilities, and delivery leadership for key clients. As a manager with Ernst & Young LLP, he worked with diverse health care provider organizations on a broad range of clinical, technical and financial solutions. While at Price Waterhouse LLP, he utilized established methodologies for information systems projects across a variety of industries.
Rick received two degrees from the University of Michigan – M.H.S.A. from the School of Public Health, and B.S.E. in Industrial & Operations Engineering.
