Ingenium is a legally Qualified Organization that is currently in pre-production testing of electronic health information exchange through MiHIN.
The purpose of Ingenium is to enable healthcare providers such as physicians, nurses, office staff, hospitals, plans, labs, imaging centers, PT, HHC, DME and others within the healthcare community to safely share information through HIPAA secure communications.
Providers will have a single connection point and enhanced communication tools that provide physicians with the clinical information they need when they need it to make the best decisions for their patients. The information provided through Ingenium reduces the costs of healthcare by avoiding duplicate testing and medical errors, which can cause unnecessary complications, drug allergies, interactions and even hospitalization or death.
Most importantly, Ingenium facilitates data and simplifies technology so that health care providers and their staff have the information and tools to do what they do best; provide high quality care for your patients.
