Beaumont Lab Information System – Notice for Statewide Lab UC Participants

Published: 11/4/2020 - Attention Statewide Lab Use Case Participants On Sunday, November 1st, 2020, Beaumont Health upgraded their EPIC Beaker Lab Information System (LIS). This upgrade changed the format of the labs delivered to organizations via the MiHIN Statewide Labs Use Case. For several weeks, Beaumont will run their legacy LIS in tandem with the newly upgraded system.  Changes may include additional segments being sent or previously segments being removed. Name Change Announcement – MIGateway

Published: 11/4/2020 - MiHIN is pleased to announce a new name for MIDIGATE, the interoperable solution for coordinating patient care. Henceforth, MIDIGATE will be known as MIGateway, which stands for Medical Information Gateway. The name change was prompted by the continued evolution of the product that now includes a suite of data exchange and display modules including the Transitions of Care Viewer, ACRS file and patient uploader, ADT Readmission Dashboard, Health Directory, Super C-CDA, Direct Secure Messaging, and most recently the longitudinal health record, known as VIPR. The InterOp Station

Published: 10/23/2020 -  The MiHIN Group’s InterOp Station is a fully FHIR-enabled platform that facilitates broad healthcare data interoperability.  It has been designed to provide HIE functionality required by the 21st Century Cures Act and the associated ONC/CMS Interoperability and Patient Access final rules with a minimum burden and maximum ease of use for stakeholders.
