In 2019, Michigan Health Endowment awarded Michigan’s Health Information Technology Commission (HITC) and the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) a grant with the objective of modernizing the state’s health information technology (health IT) strategic plan.
MDHHS is currently reviewing their findings with stakeholders in order to begin the creation of the roadmap. MiHIN, the designated provider of the state of Michigan’s HIE shared services, has been begun processing feedback and recommendations that came out of these stakeholders sessions in order to align priorities and assist in making the HIT Commission Roadmap a success.
