LANSING, Mich. – The Michigan Health Information Network Shared Services (MiHIN) today announced that Dr. Isabell Pacheco, DSc, FACHE, Chief Administrative Officer has been recognized by the National Association of Latino Healthcare Executives (NALHE) with the prestigious Leadership Award at the 2024 NALHE Leadership Summit in Dallas, Texas.

The NALHE Leadership Award honors an outstanding member who has demonstrated exceptional leadership qualities both within and outside their organization. This award recognizes highly principled individuals who not only excel in their roles but also inspire and mentor their peers within NALHE and their respective communities.

Pacheco’s career spans more than 25 years in healthcare operations and leadership, and her impact has been profound. As Chief Administrative Officer at MiHIN, she oversees vital health information technology operations and leads cross-functional teams toward transforming the healthcare landscape through seamless health data exchange. Her leadership in shaping the organization’s vision, driving operational excellence, and advocating for equitable healthcare access has been instrumental in advancing interoperability in Michigan.

The 2024 NALHE Leadership Summit brought together over 400 diverse healthcare leaders from across the nation. This year’s theme, Inspire. Innovate. Impact., featured diverse keynote speakers and thought leaders, all focused on advancing healthcare through visionary strategies and collaborative innovation and explored pressing healthcare issues, from regulatory changes to technological advancements in the industry.
