We’re excited to see that you’ve logged into the new MITP MIGateway®! Thank you for being an engaged member of our network as we make this important transition. As a reminder, the legacy system has been fully decommissioned. All access and data exchange will now take place through the new platform.
To help ensure you have a smooth experience, here are some key pointers:
- Not Seeing Expected Data?
We want to reassure you that the current data limitations are not the result of a technical issue. Rather, this is due to the fact that some of our participating organizations have not yet completed the necessary steps for their data to be loaded into our production environment and our team is still actively working around the clock to complete the loading of historical data (see list below) into the FHIR repository and we continue to add live data feeds daily as well. You’ll continue to see new data every hour as this work happens.
- CCD data from October 2021 through present
- Lab data for 6 months
- Radiology results from production go-live date*
- Transcribed results from production go-live date*
* *production go-live dates vary by sending organization, starting May 5, 2025 and continuing through present
- Finding Patient Information During Transition: Accessing Episodic CCDs in MIGateway
You can access episodic CCDs (Continuity of Care Documents tied to a specific healthcare visit) through the Transitions of Care (TOC) Viewer in MIGateway, found under the “Care Coordination” drop-down.
A CCD is a clinical summary that typically includes Results, Vitals, Notes, and Medications.
- Episodic CCDs reflect data from a single encounter (e.g., hospital discharge or clinic visit).
- Non-episodic CCDs, available in the Longitudinal Record (LR), show a full patient history across multiple encounters.
TOC Viewer Search Instructions:
- Enter the patient’s first and last name (only fields required).
- Set the date filter to 90 days (TOC shows up to 90 days of data).
- Check the box for “Has Care Summary” (this ensures the patient has a CCD tied to their ADT/encounter).
If a match is found, the following actions are available:
- View: Opens the CCD in a structured format with a table of contents and hyperlinks.
- Results: Directs to labs performed during the encounter or any included historical results.
- PDF: Downloads a user-friendly PDF version of the CCD.
- XML: Shows the raw data (not generally needed for care coordination).
- List of Current Data Contributors
A full list of participating contributors is available on our website.
- Users Who Haven’t Logged In Yet
If any of your organization’s users did not log in within the required 7-day window following the receipt of their welcome email, which included a temporary username and password, their temporary credentials have expired. To regain access, they will need to submit a ticket to our Help Desk or email help@mihin.org. Please note that all tickets are addressed in the order they are received.
- Support & Resources
We are currently experiencing a high volume of support tickets, so response times may be longer than usual. To help you find answers quickly, please check our ITP page for:
- FAQs
- User guides
- Recorded demonstrations
- Training videos
We appreciate your continued partnership and patience as we work to support all participants during this transition. As always, if you have any questions, please reach out to your account manager or help@mihin.org.
