MiHIN, openAirWare Team Up to Create New Ways to Provide Direct Secure Messaging for Healthcare Partners

LANSING, Mich., Oct. 8, 2018 ― Michigan Health Information Network Shared Services (MiHIN) has enhanced the secure transmission of healthcare communications using Direct Secure Messaging with openAirWare LLC. In early 2018, MiHIN became a fully accredited health information service provider through openAirWare and now has the ability for providers and patients to exchange protected health information through MiHIN’s service, Diretto. Diretto enables patients, providers, specialists, health plans, pharmacists, hospital, and others to securely send and receive protected health information.
