WHAT:

Michigan Health Information Network Shared Services (MiHIN) will speak at the 2019 Strategic Health Information Exchange Collaborative during two sessions: A Payer Panel Discussion: Common Interests and Community Collaboration and How to Improve Patient Matching – 4 Proven Methods.

Dr. Tim Pletcher, Executive Director, MiHIN and Velatura Public Benefit Corporation (Velatura), will speak during a panel on how Michigan engages with payers to align incentives to drive statewide interoperability, use case adoption and value creation.

James Noland, Senior Product Marketing Manager, MiHIN, will speak during a panel on Michigan’s unique approach to patient matching utilizing 4Medica’s Big Data MPI along with a common key, a private attribute to link individuals with their health information.
