WHAT:

Michigan Health Information Network Shared Services (MiHIN) will speak at the 2019 Medicaid Enterprise Systems Conference (MESC) during Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources (FHIR)® Standards and Medicaid workshop and CMS Patient Access and Interoperability – Implementing APIs in Medicaid presentation in Chicago.

Matt Englehart, Director, Research and Development, MiHIN, will discuss how Interoperability Land™ can be used to integrate FHIR® standards and open APIs in a safe, secure, collaborative environment.

Dr. Tim Pletcher, Executive Director, MiHIN and Velatura Public Benefit Corporation (Velatura) will speak about how MiHIN has created Interoperability Land™ to help organizations comply with the upcoming proposed rules by Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services and the Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology to comply with data sharing via application programming interfaces.
