Aaron Wootton
Vice President, Health Information Services & Chief Information Officer
Aaron Wootton, Vice President, Health Information Services & Chief Information Officer (CIO), brings a wealth of experience in information technology, including over 15 years in health care IT.
Mr. Wootton joined Henry Ford Allegiance Health in 2012 as the director of Jackson Community Medical Record (JCMR), an Henry Ford Allegiance-owned organization that is a national leader in the development of community-wide electronic medical records. He is currently the administrator for Health Information Systems and serves as the health system’s leader and liaison for JCMR.
Previous positions include director of the Ann Arbor Health Information Exchange and manager of clinical informatics for Michigan Heart.
Mr. Wootton earned both a BA in Information Systems Management and an MBA from Cleary University. His professional memberships include the College of Health Information Management Executives, the Michigan Hospital Association’s Strategic Information Technology Committee, and the Michigan Health Information Network’s Operations and Advisory Council.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
