Physician Payer Quality Collaborative (PPQC)

        • Purpose: Discuss common pain points in quality measure / gaps in care exchange and advance the architecture that centralizes and standardizes the data flow. The goal is to reduce burden on provider communities and maximize the accuracy of measure calculations.

Social Determinants of Health Series

MiHIN Imaging Workshop Series

      • Purpose: MiHIN is convening key stakeholders throughout the state of Michigan to help frame a statewide data sharing opportunity for exchanging medical images. This virtual collaborative workshop series is designed to identify key barriers in exchanging medical images today and prioritize data sharing scenarios based on the additional value for the community. The workshops will focus on building a multi-vendor initiative to broaden the conversation and barriers that are present when sharing medical images between systems. The workshops will result in a White Paper that frames the data sharing opportunity and the associated issues that will be used as the foundation for developing the required functionality to enhance the existing use case. 2019 Connecting for Michigan Health conference to feature National speakers; Michigan leaders

WHAT: Michigan Health Information Network Shared Services (MiHIN) will host the 2019 Connecting for Michigan Health Summit on Tuesday, June 4 and Wednesday, June 5, 2019. Topics for the two-day conference focus on Michigan’s health information technology and will include insightful sessions on opioids in Michigan, the integration of electronic data exchange within correctional facilities and foster care system, how schools are changing the way immunizations are reported and shared, the exchange of behavioral health information, and more. Interoperability Land™ to be focus during Implementation Round Table at 2019 State Healthcare IT Connect Summit
