Physician Payer Quality Collaborative (PPQC)

      • Purpose: Discuss common pain points in quality measure / gaps in care exchange and advance the architecture that centralizes and standardizes the data flow. The goal is to reduce burden on provider communities and maximize the accuracy of measure calculations.

Social Determinants of Health Series

      • In 2020, MiHIN hosted a workshop series with multi-sector stakeholders from across Michigan as groundwork to co-develop optimal pathways for collecting and sharing SDoH data in order to improve health. The recordings are available below for your viewing.
      • This year MiHIN is continuing this important SDOH work. In January, a series of Cross-Sector Data Exchange virtual workshops were hosted for Community Based Organizations, Health Care Teams, and Government Entities to foster important conversations with organizations invested in peoples’ care. Slides from these sessions are available below for your viewing. 2019 Legal Summit to Highlight TEFCA, Opioid Abuse Solutions and Artificial Intelligence

WHAT: Michigan Health Information Network Shared Services (MiHIN) will host the 2019 Legal Summit, a Connecting Michigan for Health event, on Monday, June 3, 2019.  The summit will bring together legal and healthcare experts to focus on legal issues surrounding the Trusted Exchange Framework and Common Agreement (TEFCA), bioethics and the use of predictive modeling and artificial intelligence in healthcare, the sharing of behavioral health information, recent legislation and innovative solutions to the growing opioid epidemic and more. 2019 Connecting for Michigan Health conference to feature National speakers; Michigan leaders

WHAT: Michigan Health Information Network Shared Services (MiHIN) will host the 2019 Connecting for Michigan Health Summit on Tuesday, June 4 and Wednesday, June 5, 2019. Topics for the two-day conference focus on Michigan’s health information technology and will include insightful sessions on opioids in Michigan, the integration of electronic data exchange within correctional facilities and foster care system, how schools are changing the way immunizations are reported and shared, the exchange of behavioral health information, and more. MiHIN to host 2019 Connectathon for Healthcare and Finance Sectors

WHAT: Michigan Health Information Network Shared Services (MiHIN) will host the 2019 Connectathon for finance and healthcare industries, exploring parallels and synergies between the two industries to create innovative new solutions to unsolved problems dealing with data using open application program interfaces and patterns that work in other industries. During the two-day event, experts will collaborate on open business models, digital identify proofing and more. Interoperability Land™ to be focus during Implementation Round Table at 2019 State Healthcare IT Connect Summit
