Meet Tricia Franklin

[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_column_text]As an expectant parent who is seeking employment, Tricia’s experiences can support many use cases, especially those around care coordination and Medicaid services.

Tricia Franklin is 30 years old and about to become a mother for the first time. Surprisingly for her, the upcoming birth of her child is probably the least stressful aspect of her life.

Tricia has moved back to Michigan to be closer to her family, and since returning she hasn’t stopped moving. Tricia works hard but hasn’t yet been able to find a full-time job. While seeking stable employment, she has worked many jobs in multiple cities. Currently she is a part-time receptionist at a dentist office, but the position isn’t permanent and has no possibility of growth.

Because of her employment status and lack of dependable health insurance, Tricia is on Medicaid. Her care can get complicated because of the numerous doctors she has seen while moving and preparing for a new baby. Sometimes she feels overwhelmed and wishes there were easier ways to manage her healthcare, pregnancy, and doctors. Having to visit another new office worrying that they don’t have her most recent information makes her feel stressed. And since she was diagnosed with mild, pregnancy-related hypertension, stress is one of the things she wants to avoid for her and her unborn child!

Tricia dreams of a laughing baby, a life knowing when the next paycheck is arriving, and doctors who know her as well as she knows herself, no matter if it is the first visit or the hundredth.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_empty_space][vc_empty_space][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/2″][mkdf_section_title title=”Character Facts of Interest:” title_color=”” title_text_transform=”” title_text_align=”” margin_bottom=”” title_size=””][vc_column_text]
