Accelerating Statewide SDoH Data Exchange

Published: 11/4/2020 -  Calling Stakeholders to Onboard to SDoH Use Case Today!  This past spring, in partnership with the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS), MiHIN hosted a series of statewide Social Determinant of Health (SDoH) workshops to understand SDoH program experiences and recommendations from clinical and community stakeholders across the continuum of care. Over 101 stakeholders participated, representing 49 organizations. The goals of the workshop series were to foster collaboration among Michigan SDoH stakeholders, collect feedback to  inform recommendations for the State of Michigan, and to enhance MiHIN's SDoH Use Case. Just as the workshop series kicked off in March, the COVID-19 pandemic reached our shores and elevated the need and urgency for proactive healthcare.
