MiHIN’s New Conformance Module In MIGateway

Published: 6/1/2021 -  MiHIN’s New Conformance Module In MIGateway Conformance standards are designed to continually improve the data that flows through the Michigan Health Information Network, ensuring it is complete and actionable when it’s received by the practitioners using the information.  Hospitals must maintain data quality standards for all ADT (Admission, Discharge, Transfer) and Consolidated Clinical Document Architecture (C-CDA) transmission; conformance thresholds apply to all inpatient, observation, and ED visits.    MiHIN’s new Conformance Module in MIGateway will improve the way you view and improve your conformance scores and allow hospital users to view, filter, and interact with conformance reports in a variety of new ways.  Additionally, you will also be able to view and download non-conformant ADT/CCDA message examples in an on-demand and real-time way to facilitate easier corrective action.  Hospitals can expect to receive outreach from their account executives with...

One Month to Compliance: Patient Access API

Published: 6/1/2021 -  One Month to Compliance: Patient Access API  In one month, the Center for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) will begin a compliance period for their Patient Access API. The Patient Access API and corresponding requirements are one portion of the larger CMS Final Interoperability Rule of 2020 which is often dubbed the Patient Access Rule.
