CoP Requirements from the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services

Published: 4/5/21 -  Is your hospital ready for the new Conditions of Participation (CoP) requirements from the Center for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS)? In a little less than a month, on May 1, 2021, CMS will require all Medicare & Medicaid participating hospitals, inclusive of psychiatric hospitals and critical access hospitals, to send encounter notifications to established primary care providers (PCPs) and post-acute care providers (PAC) of their patients.
